Business mission of Russian companies to Morocco

Within the framework of the visit of Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev to Morocco on October 10, the Russian Export Center organized a business mission of domestic companies in the format of direct meetings with potential Moroccan partners, including government customer departments and private companies.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev as part of the Russian delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with Moroccan partners. Alexander Tkachev also held negotiations with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Waters and Forestry of the Kingdom of Morocco Aziz Akhannouch. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the agrarian sphere. Aziz Akhannouch noted the development of cooperation in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary supervision through the competent services of Russia and Morocco. Representatives of the mentioned departments of Russia and Morocco are actively working on the practical implementation of the above agreements.

The event was attended by over 200 participants and delegates from both countries. From the Russian side, more than 20 companies and enterprises from Russia became participants of the business mission, including Shchelkovo Biocombinat. The management of Shchelkovo Biocombinat negotiations with key representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry of the Kingdom of Morocco on cooperation in the field of animal health.
